Robert Laarhoven (1964) is living near Amsterdam, and has a technical and medical education.
In 1988 he got interested in the story of AIDS dissidents, and since 1992 he is a member of
The Group. He was one of the
organisers of the first international dissident AIDS symposium, 'AIDS; A Different View', in May that year in Amsterdam, and was kicked
out the world AIDS conference, in 1993 in Berlin, and ordered to leave Germany, for distributing dissident information. Since 1996 Robert is the editor of
VirusMyth. Next to his activities as a health activist,
he works as an internet consultant and webmaster.
